Tips for crimping vials


Snap caps with centre hole (ND11, ND20)

  • ø 11 mm, ø 20 mm*
  • made of polyethylene
  • have knobs on the inner edge that snap into the recessed ring in the vial head
  • only recommended for aqueous and non-volatile samples

Screw caps with centre hole (ND8, ND9, ND10)

made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide (ND9)

  • ø 9 mm, compatible with Agilent
  • temperature range from -40 °C to approx. 120 °C
  • better tightening torque than caps made of polypropylene
  • type of screw cap to provide the best seal

  • thread standard 8-425 (Narrow Mouth)
